What is Sea Buddies?

Sea Buddies is all about friendship, exploration, and conservation. The stories follow ocean characters like Turbo the sea turtle and Surge the shark as they navigate exciting underwater adventures while teaching young readers about the beauty of the sea and how we can all do our part to protect it.

Why Sea Buddies?

Growing up by the ocean in Nova Scotia, I’ve always felt a deep connection to the sea. As a scuba diver, I’ve seen firsthand the beauty of marine life—and the challenges our oceans face. When my granddaughter was born, I wanted to share my love for the ocean with her, but I struggled to find the perfect book. So, I decided to write one! That’s how Sea Buddies was born—created with love, adventure, and an important message about caring for our oceans.
