Hi! I’m Nemo (C.C. McNab), the author behind Sea Buddies.

The ocean has always been a part of my life. I grew up on the shores of Nova Scotia, spending countless hours exploring the coastline, feeling the salt air, and discovering the magic beneath the waves. My love for the sea only deepened over the years, leading me to become a scuba diver and even spend a year living on a sailboat in British Columbia.

When my granddaughter was born, I wanted to share my passion for the ocean with her. I searched for children’s books that captured the excitement of underwater exploration and the importance of protecting marine life—but I couldn’t quite find what I was looking for. So, I decided to write my own! That’s how The Sea Buddies was born—a book series that combines adventure, friendship, and ocean conservation in a way that’s fun and accessible for young readers.

Through The Sea Buddies, I hope to inspire kids (and adults!) to love and protect the ocean, just as I have my entire life. Whether you’re a fellow ocean lover, a parent, a teacher, or just someone who enjoys a great story, I’m so happy you’re here. Let’s make waves together!
